- Kevin Cobb joined the American Brass Quintet in 1998 and with that appointment also joined the faculty of The Juilliard School and the Aspen Music Festival and School. Kevin is originally from Bowling Green, Ohio where he began trumpet studies at the age of 10. His first solo appearance was at age 15 with the Toledo Symphony. In 1993, he graduated from the Curtis Institute of Music with a Bachelor's degree studying with Frank Kaderabek, and two years later received his Master's from the Juilliard School as a student of Mark Gould. In New York, Kevin is an active freelancer with organizations like the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, New York Philharmonic, Orchestra of St. Lukes and New York City Ballet.

- Brian McWhorter plays trumpet with the Meridian Arts Ensemble, Ne(x)tworks, After Quartet, Sequitur, Endy Emby and Bliggidy Blam. His electronica and production work as boiledjar, come into play in his work with Mark Gould and Pink Baby Monster and Instant Hits. Brian is a graduate of The Juilliard School where he studied primarily with Raymond Mase and the University of Oregon where he studied with George Recker. He is currently Assistant Professor of Trumpet at the University of Oregon and also on faculty at the Manhattan School of Music.

- Lisa McWhorter moved to Eugene from Baton Rouge and New York City where she completed her teaching certification at Atmananda Yoga and Holistic Center, studying with Beth Biegler, Jhon Tamayo, and Paula Tursi. Her practice is informed by various styles of yoga, Ayurveda, meditation and an interest in embodied anatomy. She has taught yoga at the Kinhaven Music School, Anahata Yoga Center and has given clinics on body awareness for musicians. A native of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Lisa is also a the assistant concertmaster of the Eugene Symphony.
